At the corner of the Schellinggasse and Fichtegasse a luxury property is being built in the spirit of the viennese Gründerzeit. The magnificent Gründerzeit building was constructed in 1869 as a residential house for the business man Carl Herzfeld, on the site of the former city wall.

The Schellinggasse is named after the german philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph Schelling. Together with the Kantgasse, Hegelgasse and Fichtegasse, it forms the philosopher´s corner in the quarter.
